Stay away from the revolving door!

At that point, it might also be worth mentioning that we consider ourselves extremely blessed and lucky that in the almost 8 months that we have been on the road no one in the family has had any major illness. A few small colds, some diarrhea… nothing that could not be cured with some sleep, love or homeopathic medicine. And if something does happens…well, as you can see, help is in sight even if you don’t speak a word of Chinese.
BTW, the whole visit to the hospital took 45 minutes from leaving the hotel to returning to the bus station (where our bus to Hotan had waited for us!) and had cost us not a cent! Medical assistance is free in China.
